Project Solution:
To optimize storage in this temperature-controlled warehouse, we implemented a high-density shuttle racking system alongside traditional beam racks. This solution was ideal for handling large-volume, single-SKU goods with enhanced safety and efficiency. The system allows forklifts to operate only at the aisle entry, while shuttles carry goods within the tracks, significantly reducing operation time and risk. We configured 6 storage lanes, achieving over 80% space utilization. Compared to drive-in and through-type racks, our shuttle system offers greater structural stability and safety. It supports both FIFO and LIFO inventory methods, making it widely applicable in cold storage and industries like food, beverage, chemicals, and tobacco.
